Prism Eyeshadow Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills- Product Review

I recently bought this wonderful eyeshadow palette from Sephora, Prism by Anastasia Beverly Hills. This is my second palette from ABH, the first one is Renaissance. I am really impressed by ABH’s shadow quality, they are highly pigmented, longlasting(with the eye primer) and lots of color variety. When I saw Prism’s nice mix of vibrant colors, I couldn’t resist myself. This palette contains 14 colors, there are 7 matte eyeshadow and 7 glittery pigments. What I really like about this palette is the selection of colors, there are some bold colors and there are some soft colors also. This palette can help you to create a glamorous party look, you can create a soft daytime look, or you can achieve a fiery summer party look also.

Let’s go through the colors, on the top line, there are 4 matte shadows, Eden is the soft matte orangy shadow, it’s a good transition color, though I have to reapply it a couple of time to get the desired color intensity. Unity is another nice transition color for the overall lid or to highlight your browbone. Now, my most favorite color in this pallet is Sphere, it’s a perfect color for this time of year, even if it looks bright neon yellow in the picture, its actually a very soothing color once applied on the lid. Obsidian is a dark shade, perfect for the smoky eye look or you can use it on the waterline also. Lucid, Sphinx and Osiris are the highly glittery pigments, a little fall down will be noticed, but great shades, especially Sphinx, a beautiful bronze shadow, perfect for evening.

On the bottom line of this palette, we have 4 glittery pigments and 3 matte shadows.  Dimension is a beautiful color, it will give you a metallic look, very trendy yet graceful. The parallel is a warm brown shadow, I always like to have a nice brown shadow in my palette, brown is a versatile eyeshadow, can be used with any makeup look. Another fabulous color from this pallet is Saturn, it is a beautiful salmon red color, it’s bold but not too harsh, you can create a beautiful sunset look with this one, perfect for daytime. The pyramid is gold glittery pigment. The Throne is another metallic color from this palette, it is a dark greenish glitter, little different and fun to use. The Lure is a matte soft pink shade, perfect for everyday look. And then we have Eternal, it is a beige glittery one, perfect for a glamorous look.

To create this sunset look, I used Eden as my transition color, then I used Saturn on top of  Eden. I used Parallel to cut the crease and then blend the shades nicely. Then I used Sphere for the entire lid and top with Sphinx for the center of the lid. And I used Unity for my browbone and Lucid for the eye corners. Hope you like my Sunset look. Be gorgeous and happy blogging.
